We want everyone to be able to use this site.
Saint Francis Rescue and Sanctuary of Yuma is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. Accessibility is part of how we try to treat every visitor — and every animal — with dignity.
We've designed and built this site with accessibility in mind from the start:
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. As a small, volunteer-run organization we improve the site continually, so some areas may not yet fully conform. We're committed to getting there.
Animal photos are uploaded by volunteers and alternative text may occasionally be brief or generic. We work to improve these over time. Third-party tools we link to (donation platforms, social media embeds) are outside our control and may not meet the same standards we hold ourselves to.
If you run into a barrier on this site, please tell us — it genuinely helps us fix it. Reach out through our contact form, Facebook page, or send us an email. Describe the page and the problem you ran into. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
