Our mission

Built on love.
Held together by volunteers.

Saint Francis Rescue and Sanctuary has been a safe haven for the abused, the unwanted, and the forgotten animals of Yuma County — run entirely by people who show up because they care.

We pull dogs, cats, horses, and more from overwhelmed shelters, take in cruelty cases, and keep animals as long as they need — sometimes forever. And every person doing this work is a volunteer.

Support our mission

No paid staff means every dollar goes straight to the animals.

When you give to Saint Francis, it goes to food, vet care, hoof trims, and medication — for animals that needed someone to not give up on them.
